My name is Thami, and I'm the Owner/Operator of Trash Candy. I'm a gen X'er who grew up in the Southern California punk scene. I'm also a life-long thrifter, and collector of kitschy knick-knacks and vintage toys. You can absolutely see these influences in the products offered here! I love using my 20+ years of graphic design experience to create cute, kitschy products with a punk attitude.
I'm also someone who struggles with both my mental and physical health. Being a small business owner has allowed me to work on my own terms, and words cannot adequately express how much my customer's support has meant to me!
Having a pet has also been instrumental in making my life a million times better, which is why a portion of all profits from Trash Candy are donated to help pets and their families. For more info about our animal charity partner, please visit HeyKid.org.
POLLY
Polly is the most essential part of Trash Candy's operations! She came to us from a rescue in Texas, where she was found as a stray in a lumber yard. She was then moved into a high kill shelter, and was put on death row when nobody claimed her. Thank goodness a rescue came in and scooped her up, then we found her online and brought her all the way to Minnesota!
It's incredibly important to us to help animals and their families, so a portion of Trash Candy's profits are donated to our charity partner, HeyKid.org. Hey Kids' mission is to help keep pets in their loving homes, even in times of struggle and hardship.
